Third Generation Volume Fans: FAQs
What’s the benefit of using Third Generation Fans?
The best retention possible due to the split base which allows you to wrap the natural lash.
The wrapping technology in these fans mean that each fibre is coated in adhesive and therefore creates a strong bond between the fan and the natural lash.
Not only will you save valuable time, but you'll also be able to increase your prices by offering out of this world, long-lasting results.
What’s the difference between these and other Pro Mades?
Regular Pro Mades have a glued base whereas our third generation Pro Made Fans have the newest, industry first wrapping technology with an open base. Pro Mades with loose bases offer extra contact for a flawless hold.
How many come in a tray?
Due to the different fan dimensions, it varies between 470-510. If you would like to know exact numbers, check the product descriptions.
Do they stay together after pulling off the strip?
Yes, they do. Please follow the advised steps to have the best results:
- Pick up the fan under the adhesive bond
- Place fan down to tile or strip
- Then pick up by holding the entire fan with consistent tweezer pressure
Do they look like other Pro Mades on the client?
Absolutely! They look identical to our regular Pro Mades on your clients, making them super easy to blend during infills. You can even mix them effortlessly with hand made fans for a flawless finish.
How do you infill?
Infill just as normal, like you would with any other Pro Made or handmade set. However, the best way to remove them during an infill is by using two strong grip tweezers, one firmly holding the natural lash, the other pinching the bonded base until the Pro Made fan pops off.
Can I infill normal Pro Made sets with these?
Absolutely! They blend perfectly with our other Pro Mades. As long as you match the dimension, length, and curl, you can use them together effortlessly for a flawless, cohesive look!
How much glue do I use?
Use a little less glue than you would for regular Pro Mades! Thanks to the new wrapping technology, the open bases "soak up" more adhesive. Just use the same amount you would for hand made fans, and you’re all set for amazing results!
How do I remove them?
You’ve got options. You can go with the banana peel technique or use a remover, but the absolute best way is with two strong-grip tweezers. One tweezers should firmly hold the natural lash while the other pinches the bonded base—then, voilà. The wrapped fan pops right off!
Should I charge my clients more for these than original Pro Mades?
It’s totally up to you if you want to charge more for these lashes compared to regular Pro Made or even hand made sets. But here’s the best part—since these lashes improve retention and give your clients longer-lasting results, you’ll be offering a premium service. So go ahead and raise those prices with confidence!
