Lifted. with Cysteamine Guidelines
Lash Lifts

- Using Lifted. Cleansing Pads, clean the lashes thoroughly. Follow with Lifted. Lash & Brow Primer to remove any dirt or oils.
- Ask the client to look upwards while placing an eye pad onto the lower lashes to protect them.
- Apply Lifted. Adhesive along the underside of the shield. Wait a few seconds, then place the shield on the client’s eyelid, ensuring it is as close to the lash line as possible. Hold securely until the adhesive sets. [If using Lifted. Glueless Shields, you can skip this step.] For hints and tips on applying shields, head over to the LashBase YouTube channel.
- Working in small sections, apply a thin amount of adhesive along the edge of the shield. Using the Lifted. lash lift comb or Y Comb, lift the lashes up from the root onto the shield until they adhere securely. Ensure the lashes are separated and straight as you go. This is very important to ensure great results.
- Repeat on the other eye.
- Dispense Step 1. Lifting Solution into a palette (or similar). Using an applicator wand or brush, apply a small amount of the solution onto the whole lash 1 mm away from the root.
- Leave the Lifting Solution on for 8-16 minutes, depending on the condition of the natural lashes.
- Once processed, remove all traces of the Lifting Solution with a dry cotton bud or brush. Then, using a damp cotton bud, wipe across the lashes and re-comb them onto the shield. Lashes will stretch during Step 1, so it’s crucial to ensure they are aligned straight and tight on the shield for the best curl.
- If any lashes have lifted, apply more adhesive to secure them.
- Repeat the process with Step 2. Fixing Solution. Apply Step 2 to the whole lash 1 mm away from the root. Leave on for approximately 6-10 minutes, depending on the condition of the natural lashes.
- Remove gently with a dry cotton bud, ensuring all traces of the Fixing Solution are removed.
- If tinting: mix Shaped. Tint with developer and apply to the lashes from root to tip with a brush or applicator wand. Wait 5 minutes.
- Scoop off excess tint with a brush. Then, using damp cotton buds, gently wipe across the lashes and under the shields. Carefully ease the shields away from the eyelids.
- Remove the eye pads. Using damp cotton pads, remove any remaining tint. If needed, shampoo and rinse the lashes to completely remove tint and adhesive residue.
- Pat dry with a tissue. Dispense Step 3. Enriching Solution and apply to the lashes using an applicator wand. This should be left on for 12 hours.
The treatment is now complete. Give the client a handheld mirror to see the results. Provide aftercare advice and rebook their next appointment.
These are the Lifted with Cysteamine guidelines. If you were taught to lift the lashes in a different way, please refer to your training guidelines.
Brow Laminations

- Dispense Step 1. Lifting Solution into a palette (or similar). Using an applicator wand, apply the solution along the brow.

- Once processed, remove all traces of the Lifting Solution with a dry cotton pad, followed by a damp cotton pad to ensure all traces are removed
- Comb the hairs into their desired shape.
- Repeat the process with Step 2. Fixing Solution. Leave on for approximately 6-9 minutes, depending on the condition of the natural lashes.
- If you are applying tint, mix Shaped. Tint with developer and apply with a flat or angled brush.
- Remove any excess tint with damp cotton pads.
- Pat dry with a tissue. Dispense Step 3. Enriching Solution, and using an applicator wand or brow lamination brush, comb through gently. This should be left on for 12 hours.
The treatment is now complete. Give the client a handheld mirror to see the results. Provide aftercare advice and rebook their next appointment.
These are the Lifted with Cysteamine guidelines. If you were taught to laminate the brows in a different way, please refer to your training guidelines.

Lash Lift

- Step 1: Dispense Step 1. Lifting Solution into a palette (or similar) and mix with the Lash Lift Powder to create a tacky paste. Apply this mixture to the shield of your choice. Place the paste onto the shield and brush and press the lashes into the paste to stick them down. Apply the mixture 1mm away from the root to the tips of the lashes, ensuring full coverage. For mixing ratios refer to the table below.
- For thicker or downward-growing lashes, you may need to use Lifted. Covers or Lifted. Lamination Wrap at this stage to help keep lashes adhered. Be cautious, the lamination wrap or cling film traps heat and can speed up processing time. For timings, please refer to the table below. Once the lashes have processed, gently remove the paste.
- Step 2: If lashes don’t stick well on their own (e.g. if they are long or thick), you can mix with the Lash Lift Powder to create another paste. Otherwise, apply Step 2 as normal, again covering from 1mm away from the root to the tips of the lashes.
- Use a Y comb or Lifted. Lash Lifting Comb to separate and perfect lash placement during this step, this is very important for achieving a clean, lifted look.
- For thicker or downward-growing lashes, you may need to use Lifted. Covers. Please refer to the table below for mixing and timing ratios.
- Tinting (Optional): Tint and oxidiser can also be mixed with the powder to form a thick paste. This makes the tint easier to control and prevents it from seeping into the client’s eyes, especially useful for beginners. Apply the tint as usual and remove with a damp cotton bud. Ensure all tint residue is removed before moving on.
- Step 3: Using damp cotton pads, remove any remaining tint. If needed, shampoo and rinse the lashes to completely remove tint residue.
