From the LashBase warehouse to training in Lash Lifts
We’re always excited to hear how our courses work out in the real world, but this one is particularly close to home.
Meet Holly!
Holly is part of our LashBase warehouse team, so she spends her working days surrounded by lash products, packing orders and seeing which products our customers love. Recently, she decided to take things one step further and complete our Lifted. Lash Lift & Tint and Brow Lamination online course.
We sat down with her for a quick, honest chat about why she decided to add lash lifts to her treatment list, what she’s learned along the way and how she’s getting on now she’s qualified.
From Nails to Lashes
Why did you decide to take the course?
I already offer Gel nails in my evenings and weekends and really wanted to offer my clients more. Follow me @beaut.ybyholly
What made you think, “Right, I need to learn lash lifting”?
I see them all over my Tiktok and more and more people I talk to are choosing lash lifts. I pack hundreds of Lifted. orders all day in the warehouse too, so I knew it was a popular product. It was a no brainer for me.
What’s something you wish you’d known before starting?
Video’s make it look soo easy, it’s definitely more fiddly than nails but I’m practising as much as I can!
Then we had to ask the all-important question…
Nails or Lashes?
“Come back to me in 6 months, I’ve only just qualified!”
Fair enough. 😂
For now, she’s focusing on building her confidence, practising her lash lift technique and getting used to her new skill.
And with a whole new treatment to offer clients, there’s plenty of opportunity ahead!

The Best Part? Seeing the Final Result
When we asked Holly what her favourite part of learning lash lifts has been, her answer was simple:
"The end result."
And we can see why.
A good lash lift can completely change the appearance of the natural lashes, creating a lifted, more open-eyed look without the need for lash extensions. It’s also a great treatment to add alongside other popular beauty services.
For Holly, learning lash lift and tint means she can now offer another treatment to the clients who already trust her with their nails, while opening the door to new clients looking specifically for lash lifts.
