What are flat lashes?
Flat lashes are a type of individual eyelash extensions with a flat, rhomboid base. They have several different beneficial qualities that make them different from the standard individual lash which we all know and love!
The difference between the regular lashes used for classic lashes and flat lashes is the base. The base of flat lashes is flattened, this shape makes the lash itself super soft and much lighter in comparison to the traditional classic lash.
What are the main benefits of flat lashes?
Increased retention, greater contact area for the adhesive fastening to the natural lash
Great for adding volume and texture without adding any extra weight
They are perfect for creating darker, more dramatic lash looks
Flat lashes are lightweight and comfortable, even on short or thin lashes
- They are a great option for clients with weak or damaged lashes
Flat lashes typically have better retention due to their concave surface which creates a wider bonding surface. They’re also lighter, causing less damage to the natural lashes. Because of their unique base shape, flat lashes should be positioned on the top or bottom of the natural lashes, not at the sides like some conventional lashes can be.
Partnering up with handmade fans, PRE or PRO made fans, easy flats achieve their best results combined as a hybrid set!
So, what are Easy Flats?
Our Easy Flats are an industry first! They are a completely brand NEW product to be released in the lashing industry, and we are excited to share with you why these will be a must in your lashing kits!
Using purpose-made flat PBT fibers makes the lashes stronger and more durable! Not only are these lashes more durable, but you also get a better weight/thickness ratio. Standard flat lashes usually offer a typical 2:1 ratio, but our new easy flats offer 10:1. This means a 0.02 thickness with 0.20 appearance. This makes easy flats the lightest flat lash with the thickest appearance! Easy flats, perfect for those trying to achieve a darker lash line for that strip lash look.
We’ve specifically manufactured our Easy Flats to be easier to pick up and apply. This means your lash sets will have a better end result with longer-lasting retention overall.
