Styling Colour Lashes

As you’ve probably seen, we have a whole range of colour lashes and now is the perfect time to go crazy with colour! They’re not just a summer festival thing, they're great for any occasion. Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween… EVERYTHING - they show personality and we’re here for it.

We know when it comes to colourful eyelashes, not all clients are convinced as black and brown (more natural colours) are the obvious choice to go for. But why not get creative? A little bit of colour never hurt anyone and you don't have to go for a full set of colour. You can get arty. Change lengths and placement for more or less pops of colour.

Here are some different ways you can incorporate coloured eyelashes into your client's lash sets.

Colour Lash Maps

Style: Squirrel

First up is a little pop of colour which would look great on a squirrel set.

Use shorter lengths on the bottom layer of the outer corner to reveal a flash of your client's favourite colour. If you want it to be slightly more subtle, use a darker colour like purple, blue or teal.

Style: Fox

If you want more of an ombre effect with colour running through the lashes from the base to the ends, then try doing your bottom layer of lashes with a dark colour (or black) and a lighter colour on the top layer.

Style: Doll

With this set, you’re essentially doing the same as the ombre effect but on the top layer, you’ll use a slightly longer length than the bottom layer - using coloured lashes on the top, and black lashes on the bottom. This will create a border of colour along the top of the lashes and when your clients' eyes are shut, you’ll see stunning block colour.

Style: Kim K (Wispy)

Everyone loves an iconic set of wispy Kim K lashes so why not add some colour to them? Here we have some red lashes dotted in between bold black lashes. For those of you who have clients who like glitter lashes, stay tuned… this set would look great with a bit of sparkle too!

Style: Cat

Why not jazz up a cat eye by using colour on the outer third of the set? If you want it to blend out a bit better rather than having strong contrast, place a few of the opposite colour lashes on either side of the split.

Style: Cat

For a bit more of a dramatic effect, colour block the lashes into stripes. This is certainly a very specific, unique look but it definitely catches the eye.

Style: Doll

Finally, for any of those clients that LOVE colour and want a look that gets all the attention. Colour block your lash lengths to get a rainbow effect across the lashes. Equally, you can create gorgeous ombre looks by going through the lash set with the same colour tones.

The beauty of our range of colour lashes is versatility, meaning you can unleash your creativity and offer your clients loads of different, customised looks. We're here to support you in building up your lash business, and offering something different is a great way to get people's attention. If you create any looks with our colour lashes, make sure you post them and tag us on Instagram! We want to see!

So… you know what to do. It's time to embrace the colourful lash trend and take your lash artistry to the next level.
